A forum should be helpful, moderated, and safe.

The forum can eventually function like a focused patient advocacy community with categories for chronic pain, dysautonomia, TBI, medication access, doctor dismissal, state advocacy, insurance, pharmacy issues, and success stories.

Build later, not first

Forum features require moderation, abuse prevention, account controls, privacy rules, reporting tools, and safety boundaries. A public forum should not be the first database feature because patient-health conversations can become sensitive quickly.

When built, the community should be structured around advocacy needs rather than random discussion.

Moderation principle

The forum should protect patient dignity while prohibiting harassment, doxxing, threats, emergency-care requests, illegal activity, medical instructions presented as professional advice, and unverified accusations against identifiable individuals.

Community comes after trust infrastructure.

First finish public content, disclaimers, privacy language, and story-submission safety rules.

Read standards
